This Privacy Policy describes how Pak Mat Express (“we”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Pak Mat Express mobile app and the Pak Mat Express admin platform at pakmatexpress.com.
The Pak Mat Express app is a private workforce tool used by authorised delivery agents employed or contracted by Pak Mat Express. It is not a public consumer product.
1. Information We Collect
- Agent profile — name, agent code, phone number, and assigned base address. Provided by your dispatcher when your account is created.
- Precise device location — collected only while you are on an active delivery trip. Used to calculate routes, ETAs, and distances to delivery points. Location is not collected when the app is closed or when no trip is active.
- Camera and photo library — used solely to capture or select a Proof-of-Delivery (POD) photo at the moment you mark an order delivered. Photos are uploaded to our storage; no other media is read.
- Push notification token — an anonymous device token used to deliver order-assignment and dispatch alerts.
- Order activity — orders you accept, deliver, or flag, and the time of each event. Used to compute earnings and operational metrics.
2. How We Use the Information
- To assign orders to the nearest available agent.
- To compute route plans, ETAs, and trip summaries.
- To verify proof of delivery to the customer and the source merchant.
- To send you assignment notifications and operational alerts.
- To share order-status updates with our integration partner (Luxana) for the purpose of completing the customer's purchase.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivery operations.
3. Where Data Is Stored
- Order records, agent profiles, and event logs are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase in the ap-southeast-1 (Singapore) region.
- Proof-of-Delivery photos are stored on Cloudflare R2 object storage, with read access restricted to the Pak Mat Express admin platform.
- Location samples are processed transiently for route calculation and are not persisted as a continuous tracking history.
4. Sharing of Information
We share order-status and POD information with Luxana, our upstream order source, so the customer's order can be marked complete on the merchant side. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information with any third party. We will disclose information only when legally required.
5. Retention
Operational data (orders, POD photos, event logs) is retained while your agent account is active, plus a reasonable period for accounting and audit. You can request earlier deletion of your personal information by emailing the address below.
6. Your Rights
- You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- You may request correction of inaccurate information.
- You may request deletion of your account and personal data.
- You may revoke camera, photo, location, or notification permissions at any time through your device settings; some app features will become unavailable as a result.
7. Children
The Pak Mat Express app is intended only for adult delivery agents under contract with Pak Mat Express. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or via email to active agents. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
